Transport on La Gomera

Three bus services run four times a day from San Sebastian to Valle Gran Rey, Playa Santiago and Vallehermoso.

Taxis can be called from hotels but are few and far between and often do not work late at night.  A taxi rank is situated in the village square of Playa de Santiago.

Car hire is the best option to see the magic of the island. Roads are very steep and twisty but usually empty.

The Benchi Express ferry runs three times a day to Los Cristianos (Tenerife), San Sebastian and Valle Gran Rey.
